Chuncho
Chuncho is a restaurant and bar that works using the flavors, ingredients,
and traditions of Ollantaytambo, the Urubamba Valley, and the Cusco region. Our priority
is to use ingredients from our own organic farm, as well as those of local growers and
suppliers. At Chuncho we revive traditional, native dishes with local
ingredients, the food we serve changes regularly based on what we’re growing on our farm and
which ingredients are in season.
The word “Chuncho” comes from the Quechua language and
means “native” and “wild”
Chuncho is the continuation of our family’s work that spans more than 4 decades here in
Ollantaytambo, reflected in El Albergue, Destilería Andina and Café Mayu.
